To Cease To Defend The O9A Because Abandoned

Chapter I, Desertam Indefensamque, was a memorandum sent to Occult colleagues by the Oxfordshire-based Sapphic group the TWS Nexion at the beginning of November 2021. It led to the discussions recounted in the section titled The Esoteric Philosophy And Seven Fold Way Of Anton Long – A Debate in chapter II, A New Beginning, the gist of which discussions concerned the anarchist/nihilist O9A principle of the ‘authority of individual judgement’ and what had recently resulted from that principle: such as the Black Propaganda of a fake American O9A nexion run by an FBI agent provocateur.

The TWS Nexion was of the view that the principle of the ‘authority of individual judgement’ – described in chapter III, Paradox Of The O9A Authority Of Individual Judgment, whose consequences are described in the Debate section of chapter II – were on balance detrimental to the quest for Lapis Philosophicus. Hence their reformation as The Seven Oxonians and their development of a new esoteric tradition which they termed The Hebdomian Way, described in detail in chapter IV, The Sevenfold Seeking And Noesis Of The Hebdomian Way. They thus returned to the fundamentals of Hermetic philosophy as described in the tractates of the ancient Corpus Hermeticum, with chapters V and VI – Julius Evola, The Seven Fold Way, And The Corpus Hermeticism and A Review of Myatt’s The Divine Pymander – providing an overview of that Corpus. This work presents the new esoteric tradition in detail as well as the background to its development involving as that did ceasing to publicly defend or explain Longusian Occultism because it had been abandoned in favour of The Hebdomian Way.

* Part One: Differing Perceptions Of The Order Of Nine Angles.
* Part Two: Baeldracian, Falciferian, Rynethian.
* Part Three: Omega9Alpha As Culture And Subculture.
* Conclusion: Future Non-Western Omega9Alpha Subcultures
* Appendix: A Rediscovered Balobian Treasure. From the Conclusion: Given (i) the ‘principle of the authority of individual judgment’ and (ii) the fact that the ω9α code of kindred-honour applies irrespective of gender, ethnicity, perceived social/educational status, nationality, and sexual preference, and (iii) that ω9α culture does not embody racist neo-nazism in ethos or in principle, ω9α culture can be further diversified and thus develop new subcultures that encompass the insights and some of the practices of non-European esoteric and mystic traditions.

This has already happened in a clandestine way in places such as Egypt and Iran where nexions have been established which incorporate some Sufi traditions and insights (and in the case of Iran, memories of Sumka) as well as in Japan where a clandestine nexion incorporates the insights of Yukio Mishima (as manifest in his quartet The Sea Of Fertility) with the esoteric non-racist National-Socialism of Reichsfolk. In Turkey, a clandestine nexion exists which blends Myattian insights – from his philosophy of pathei-mathos – with elements of Sufism, stories from لْفُ لَيْلَةٍ وَلَيْلَةٌ and aspects of ω9α culture in a still developing individual and mystical quest for wisdom.

Such new and developing subcultures are expanding ω9α culture and harbingers of not only a New Aeon but of a new type of civilization independent of nations and States and old aeon notions of Empire and physical conquest.

O9A: Deofel Quintet Analysis

The O9A Deofel Quintet

The O9A Deofel Quintet consists of the following novels:

§ Falcifer
§ The Temple Of Satan
§ The Greyling Owl
§ The Giving
§ Breaking The Silence Down

The Quintet – the Deofel Quartet plus the novel Breaking The Silence Down – amounts to almost 600 pages and is a neglected aspect of O9A occultism. For attention hitherto – especially in mainstream Media, by self-described modern ‘satanists’, by academics, and by self-described ‘anti-fascists’ – has focused on the alleged neo-nazi and satanist aspects of O9A occultism, with what the O9A means by satanism either ignored or misunderstood.

The Deofel Quintet {1} places the neo-nazism and the satanism aspects into the necessary esoteric perspective, for the novels of the Deofel Quintet are non-political with the overt satanism of such works as Falcifer and The Temple of Satan expressing the place of satanism in O9A tradition: which is that it is a short-lived and personal learning experience, germane to the early stages, the first few years, of the anados (ἄνοδος), the decades-long hermetic quest, for Lapis Philosophicus. An anados manifest in O9A hermeticism by the sinister-numinous Seven Fold Way.

In this perspective, both Falcifer and The Temple of Satan are concerned with initiate type learning experiences: gaining esoteric knowledge, participating in ceremonial overtly ‘satanic’ rituals, and experiencing the part of the satanic ethos that concerns personal pride and personal pleasure. But they also deal with how personal emotion – especially love – affects them, can complicate their lives, as well as offering them opportunities to learn and advance further in their anados.

Which advancement is the concern of The Greyling Owl, of The Giving, and of Breaking The Silence Down.

The compilation conveniently brings together some recent (2017-2019) texts which, as explained in the Introduction, manifest aspects of O9A tradition hitherto neglected by both other Occultists and by academics who have studied or who are studying Western Occultism and/or the O9A.

Which aspects are (i) Occult knowledge – esoteric and pagan traditions, Greco-Roman, Arabic, and Persian – absent from other manifestations of modern Western Occultism; (ii) the link which the O9A has through this knowledge to those ancient traditions; and (iii) the scholarly research done by the authors of such O9A texts.

The scope and contents of the texts serve to distinguish the O9A from all other modern Occult groups be such groups described as Occult, Satanist, or of the Western Left Hand Path.

This 144 page compilation thus compliments the O9A texts in the following four compilations:
(i) the seventh, 1460 page, edition of Guide To The Order Of Nine Angles issued in 2014 (external link),
(ii) The Esoteric Hermeticism Of The Order Of Nine Angles, (pdf) issued in 2016,
(iii) The Eludent O9A, (pdf) issued in 2018, and
(iv) Further Notes Concerning The Hermetic Origins Of The O9A, (pdf) issued in 2014.

Richard Moult has released the latest image in his Non Est Secundus Quia Unus Est Tarot pack. As with his previous image Atu III, his Atu XVII image – under the subheading Nihil est divino divinius, caelesti caelestius – uniquely presences the sinisterly-numinous aesthetic and thus the sinisterly-numinous esoteric tradition.

Labyrinthos Mythologicus: Such A Confusion

A perspicacious comment about the Order of Nine Angles (ONA, O9A), requiring no comment from the likes of “us”.

{begin quotation}

Such a confusion in great numbers is one of the stated purposes of the Labyrinthos Mythologicus, and it is what makes it inherently elitist at every level. That is to say, it is not elitist because it brags or because there is an authority denying entry, but because it asks from the practitioner a wide variety of abilities, at least in potential, and the willingness to develop them through hard work. Some of these are stated explicitly, and others are required by the sheer complexity or lack of explanations of certain things, which end up pushing the seriously interested practitioner to find ways, bridge gaps, interpret and discover his own unique way. Being unable to do so, either out of incompetence or mental intransigence, is to be culled by the design of the ONA or to be culled out of the loop by one’s own mediocrity, incapacity or emotional blockage and blinding (often the case among clever occultists).

From its inception, the Seven-Fold Way was intended to see most fail, to see most crumble under pressure, by a reluctance to try again, by carelessness leading to mental or physical injury or destruction. It should be clear to any objective and intelligent student of the materials (not to speak to a practitioner, I presume) that personal discernment is the foremost of all ONA requirements, once a holistic and balanced view of its rather wide assortment of ideas throughout the decades has been at least partially digested. To even suggest that the failure of many (most?) ONA would-be initiates is a sign of failure of the system, or to suppose that the bickering between ONA-inspired/derived groups implies an alarming state of affairs threatening to take it down, is to not to be able to see beyond the proverbial nose.

The O9A, Myatt, And Academia

§ Preface
§ I. The Occult And Academia
§ II. More Academic Inaccuracies
§ III. Concerning Primary O9A Sources
§ IV. Michael Aquino And David Myatt
§ V. The Logical Fallacy of Incomplete Evidence – A Case Study

Five items concerning academic books or essays which have made reference to the Order of Nine Angles (O9A, ONA) and/or to Myatt based on the assumption that he is ‘Anton Long’. The first three items deal with the shoddy nature of academic research regarding the O9A and Myatt given that none of the academic authors (i) accessed and referenced primary sources relating to Myatt, nor (ii) undertook detailed research into the O9A by studying the whole O9A corpus.

The two other items are primary sources relating to Myatt, contradicting as they do the claims made in the aforementioned academic books and essays.
